![]() ![]() ![]() I understand that that workflow is likely out of your control. As such, I did not realize UPlay had an in-game overlay that needed to be enabled. ![]() For one, as a Steam user, UPlay opens up as a middle layer, so I was going straight from Steam to the game client without needing to even consider UPlay options. While I'm sure this mistake is on me, I would like to highlight a few challenges as a user this presented me. ![]() Thank you for your swift reply, as havenwood29 mentioned above it turns out my in-game UPlay overlay was not enabled. If anyone has any ideas, I'd really appreciate some suggestions. Note that this issue doesn't get as far as my U-Play friends list, so while there could be some issue there, I'm not convinced it's a connection issue with any friend in particular. I purchased the game through Steam, which then calls the U-Play client, in case that has any known issues. As part of trying to fix the problem I went through the Far Cry 5 Ubisoft support guide to open up various TCP and UDP ports recommended by them, but it didn't change the result. That's it, nothing else happens, no error message or feedback. What happens is it makes the "click" noise and then half a loading spinner shows on the screen then quickly disappears. We have the same issue whether clicking "+ Invite Player" from the main home screen and arcade home screen menus or "Invite Friends" from the in-game menu. Both I and a friend are having an issue where neither of us can invite a friend to join our game. Wondering if anyone else is having this problem. ![]()
